Practice profile

Thomas joined Chambers after completing his pupillage with Mr Robert Pang SC, Mr Victor Dawes SC, Mr Bernard Man SC, Mr Edwin Choy SC and Mr Jonathan Winston Ah-Weng. From 2014 to 2015 he was a Judicial Assistant to the Court of Final Appeal and Court of Appeal.

Thomas is developing a broad civil practice, with a particular interest in commercial, company and libel disputes. He accepts instructions in all areas of Chambers’ work. He has experience in public law cases, judicial review and regulatory matters.

Thomas has appeared at the District Court, the Court of First Instance, the Court of Appeal and the Court of Final Appeal. He has conducted civil trials alone in English and Chinese. He has also advised on and appeared in arbitrations (including an arbitration conducted in Mandarin).
